This is the most devastating Byzantine army you can make under custom battle rules for 10000 gold. Everyone is on horseback, so that you have the advantage in tactical flexibility and speed. Surround your enemies with horse archers and unleash arrows upon their most valuable units from behind. Avoid engagement until arrows have been all used, and keep the enemy pinned in place with range and movement. Destroy units that break off from the enemy force to pursue you. Then organize a massive flanking charge with all troops from two or more sides to break your enemy decisively. Feel free to sweep up every last router with your all cavalry force.
