Hungarian black army 1480 ac.
The black army was formed by king Mattheas in 1459 ac, and it was one of the strongest army in europe. At the begining it was 90% mercenaries but with time hungarians joined too. The army size was around 10 000 men in peace but at war it was twice as big. The black army was the main core of the hungarian army and it was mostly heavy cavalry, good offensive infantry, missile infantry with guns and artillery. King Mattheas beside the black army, he had the hungarian army with more the 100 000 men size with mostly light cavalry. Unfortunately after king Mattheas died the black army was disintegrated.
