A fast moving, skirmishing army used in the campaign. I use it mostly to just attack large armies; the Desert Cav are excellent damage dealers and are perfect for dealing with cavalry and the general, as well as eliminating the flanks. They also form the charging cavalry for when I run out of javelins. The Hashashim are the mailed fist of the force, and are perfect for closing up the battle line, especially in tandem with my Sudanese Javelin men. I get my light infantry to chuck their spears at the enemy, with my Hashashim hiding on a flank, and, when my light infantry closes with the enemy, I attack with my mailed fist and rout the enemy. My cavalry also charges in to help mop up the enemy. This army is amazing during the early-high period. I have yet to see it on Late, however.
