Note: This is not made for real battles, but to be a story. Read the earlier stories before this. "Real" number of soldiers that were in this battle in this side is ten times the huge unit setting.
This is also in French army, "France at 1st Venice", and was originally wrote for that.
Kingdom of France was now very large. So wielding an army enough to conguer the Venice was not a problem. But the king had recently died due to illness, and a new king, Francis I(not a reflection to the true Francis I) has now the throne. Now the army was big enough to attack into Venice. Using Holks and Gunholks the army of France attacked. But Venetians had a good artillery, and they shot many of the french ships. The remaining french landed and attacked to the city. but it was hard to navigate, and the defenders had owerwhelming numbers, and they knew the city. The french cavalry did need first to fight on foot, nad many of them were killed, before the horse ships arrived. And cavaly wasn't good at there, and troops of France were slaughtered and forced to surrender. Some of them escaped, and French artillery was saved. It covered the retreat of forces that could do it, but i couldn't give much opposition to the Venetian artillery. The remaining army went to rest of the Italy. venetian navy wasn't numerous enough to oppose the french navy, and the sicilian navy was not ready to pursuit, and it arrived at the last moment, so it couldn't stop the french navy, but it was a victory nonethless. But Francis I had escaped, and begun to use another strategy, and that strategy was a naval blockade...
