When Elendil first came to the shores of Middle-Earth, he built his house at the lake Nenuial in the city of Annúminas and here was his residence and his throne and that of his successors. The insignia of his reign were kept in the House of Kings for nearly 2000 years, before the place was deserted and fell into ruins and Elendils heirs went into hiding and brought the signs of their power to the safety of Rivendell and the Dúnedain dwindled and the lesser men began to forget the kingdom of old except in their legends. But it seems that ancient legends and dreams have come to new life, as a king from the true lineage has indeed returned and is holding the sceptre of the realm in his firm hand. Arnor, for many centuries not more than a name, is about to become a reality again. The House of Kings has been rebuilt and from near and far the king is calling together his peoples so that they may pledge their allegiance and be rewarded for their loyalty – and see with their own eyes, that the kingdom is real.
The House of Kings is prerequisite to rebuild the Kingdom of Arnor. |
