 Main entrance into Mordor. The Black Gate is located at the northwestern corner of Mordor. It spans Cirith Gorgor, the Haunted Pass, at the point where the Ash Mountains met the Mountains of Shadow. Behind the Black Gate is the valley of Udun which leads to the plain of Gorgoroth. |
