Dismounted Nomad Lancers A man of the steppes was rarely willing to descend from his horse, his loyal battle companion. When the need for infantry arose, a unit of horsemen would dismount and rely on their mobile brothers to fill the role of light cavalry. These men don’t take kindly to any enemy who thinks they have the audacity to defy them. Armoured in leather overcoats, and clutching spears, they will hold the line, for a while.
