Turkoman Heavy Bowmen The nomadic Turks centered around the Persian region, often called 'western Turks' favored a medium range, but powerful bow, to penetrate highly armored foes. It relied on powerful tension, rather than the weight of the bow. Already being strong men, they will have little problem in delivering deadly arrows right through an enemy’s flesh.
