Turkoman Macemen Oghuz Turks serve in the armies of many sultans as Turkish auxiliaries in their vast armies. While usually favoring battle tactics of mobility and archery, from which they have trained from childhood, the mace provides a cheap and useful alternative. While using their steeds for mobility and retaining the nomadic lifestyle, they dismount for battle to provide a full force of punishment to the enemy. Cheap and numerous, they serve as light infantry in huge nomadic armies to overwhelm a wide range of foes.
