Qara-Ghulam Cavalry This light cavalry unit is built up of young men who are accustomed to the saddle but still have to learn a lot about warfare. As ghulams they are slave warriors bought as children and indoctrinated by their masters. This makes them a very loyal unit eager to prove their braveness in battle; still they are not experienced fighters and should not be expected to last long in close combat. A wise general would use their archery skills and speed rather than waste them in hand-to-hand fighting.
