Dismounting to fight has always been part of the Arab tradition, and these Faris Archers live up to this lack of bias against fighting on foot. Capable of putting more power behind their shots, and engaging in melee if the battle demands it, these dismounted archers are far from being as fragile as many a turcoman would be, would they not have a horse beneath them.
