Unit Description |
|
 |
Khevsureti - one of the most beautiful high-mountainous region of east Georgia - was for centuries home to a unique culture and people: the Khevsurs, Pshavs, Tushs, and other mountain Georgian tribes. These cultures have long developed a systematized military and among the Khevsurs, as well as other mountaineers, an original art of fencing was perfected. Proud and aggressive, Khevsurs are free and independent from the feudal lords and were often employed as bodyguards for the kings of Georgia. They are encased in maille armor and before their enemies they knew no fear. A violent and strange soldier in the eyes of other Georgians, but one who is feared by all his enemies.
