Unit Description |
|
|
The Knights of Jerusalem are too trained and valuable a force to dismount to fight, and it is for that reason that in defense of the walls of Jerusalem and in the cities and citadels of the Holy Land the Jerusalem Guard would be called. Consisting of lesser knights, lord-less sergeants, and other men of the middle to lower upper class, these Guardsmen have too rejected the notion of obedience to self-serving nobles, under not the banner of these households but rather beneath the Cross of Christ and the Holy King and Kingdom.
