Unit Description |
|
 |
The Oghuz Turks were the largest of Turkic groups and often served in the large nomadic armies of the Seljuks and other empires. Their nomadic lifestyle of herding and quick movement on a horse gave them a military advantage, one valuable to those that hire them. Light bowmen serve as an auxiliary force in the vast nomadic armies of many sultans. Though these bows have a critical lack of penetration, they have a better range. They should be used for shower tactics before your army charges into melee.
