Reiters derive their name from the German word Reiter, meaning horseman. Generally from German states, Reiters are armed with a pistol and spear, and well protected by plate armour. They often employ the shooting circle tactic to create a continuous cycle of firing and reloading. Once the enemy are softened up by this treatment, they charge in and finish them off the old fashioned way.
