Hobbit archers are the best thing Hobbits can provide, outside of good pipe-weed that is. These archers are equipped with some nice armour and a good bow. They might seem small and weak, but you shouldn’t underestimate their archery skills. You should use these Hobbits for laying ambush to the enemy, but you should keep them out of melee. They are slightly better at melee fighting than the Snaga morons from the caves, but they don’t have as high of numbers and they don’t stand a chance against the bigger creatures in Middle-Earth.
