Chariots

Chariots are used widely for funerals, ceremonial feasts and, of course, racing games as well as on the battlefield. Their construction requires superior materials, money, talent and skill, so only our chieftains and nobles can afford them. This makes ownership of a chariot something of a status symbol among the tribe, as it indicates prosperity and grants prestige. In battle, a co-ordinated chariot charge can smash through enemy lines, shattering the foes’ morale as well as their bodies. Such things have the reverse effect on our own troops – they are confident and even more courageous following such events.
